Today I went to the most beautiful house in Kg Rimba with warm sunny yellow walls, artifacts collected from all over the world, a tiled shady verandah, an enormous dream kitchen with black and white tiles, a dreamy alcove!!!, THE oven - oh the huge oven, a smoothie machine, an industrial mixer, a marble top round cosy dining table ( where the mamas and a mama-to-be swapped stories ), maracas (yes, they have maracas from MEXICO), a coffee table which transports you to tropical beaches dotted with shells, and a cosy day bed....
Thank you - Senor Pablo (www.world-of-pablo.blogspot.com) and Bunny for your truly warm hospitality.
Pablo showed us how to make warm, squidgy, squelchy, chocolate mud cakes and blueberry friands (oohhhhhh - yummy). Okie, make sure you have a handy napkin to wipe the drool off your lips from here on!!

Bunny made a chocolate pavlova with bananas, strawberries and choc sauce. Mamalobs, ZT, Bunny and I food styled this pic.

Here's ZT putting the finishing touches to her mudcake, ice-cream and strawberry concoction.

And here's mine.

Bunny also made a huge tiramisu.

And prawn fritters with a spicy tangy kecap manis dip.

Bunny made pandan tea ( a first for me ) - a wonderful aromatic lightly sweetened pandan flavoured tea....... and Pabs shared his recipes for a vanilla, orange shake and a vanilla, orange, yoghurt, strawberry shake. All of us were bouncing off the walls from the sugar high and excitement of meeting up again.
Make sure you pay a visit to the shutterbugs (and I am sorry I still have not figured out how to link!) for more pics of today. They have gorgeous pics of the new couple (ZT's little man & Mamalob's delicious little poppet). Here she is.

Bunny and Pabs - thank you again for a great afternoon. Don't forget to visit his blog for more pics.
Recipes soon, promise!

I'd love to have an industrial mixer. The small hand mixers are a pain in the butt to use, especially if you want to make a large amount of food.
